The NAPE Blackhorse Hockey League is mourning the sudden passing of Brad Kerrivan, who lost his life due to horrific traffic accident over the weekend. We offer sincerest condolences to his family. Due to the holiday on Monday, the Mary Brown’s Centre will be closed. The games will be added to the end of the regular schedule.

Due to the impending storm, and in conjunction with Mary Brown’s Centre, we have decided to cancel hockey this evening. Also, we will be reducing our regular season from 33 games, down to 30 games. This will allow us to complete our season and full playoffs by May 15th. Details about second half round fees will be communicated by your team reps soon.

Our regular season will resume on February 13th. All postponed games have been rescheduled, and added to the website. We are cautiously optimistic that we can complete all of these games, plus the full playoff schedule by May 15th.

Due to the current level 4 covid status, all games up to and including February 6th have been postponed. We are hopeful that these games can be made up later in the season. Further updates will be provided for games after Febbruary 6th , when guidance is provided by public health.

The NAPE Blackhorse Hockey League has had to postpone games on January 2nd and 3rd. We will provide further updates about future games in the coming days.

Our 51st season will begin on Sunday October 17th at Feildian Gardens. Details for registration will be provided soon.

The AGM has been set for Monday September 13th, 7:30 at the Geraldine Rubia Centre, (formally the Longside Club) on Shaw Street. Please make an effort to attend, as this meeting allows players to have their say in League issues. We also elect a new executive on this night. If you are interested, please attend and put your name forward. The season starts on October 17th this year. Your team rep from last season will be in touch with details on signing up for this year.
